Sightings are never guaranteed, and we won't imply otherwise. Where wildlife is involved, routes and behaviour follow the rules set by each park or reserve, including keeping appropriate distance and not pressuring guides toward closer encounters.
Gorilla trekking and chimpanzee trekking follow the current permit and conduct rules set by the relevant authorities, which we check with you before confirming a trek.
Working With Local Guides and Communities
Our driver-guides know the places we plan travel to. Cultural trips are planned to respect the specific community involved, rather than treating East African cultures as interchangeable or a backdrop for photographs.
We don't publish claims about conservation partnerships, certifications or community programmes unless they've been specifically confirmed — if that matters to you, ask us directly and we'll tell you plainly what we can and can't confirm.
Realistic Expectations, Not Marketing Promises
We won't promise permits, rooms, vehicles, drivers, sightings, border entry or specific wildlife encounters. We also don't offer medical, legal, visa or wildlife-safety guarantees — those are matters for the relevant authorities and your own preparation, and we'll point you toward them rather than overstate our role.
If something can't be confirmed yet, we'll say so and follow up once it can be.
